How to obtain rootstock trees and/or seedlings for personal use Once you are able to obtain your HLB-negative, high quality and true-to-type citrus budwood from the Citrus Clonal Protection Program (CCPP), you will need a rootstock to graft your buds onto. There are a few options to consider: 1. Buy a citrus tree at a local nursery and graft your buds onto it, creating a "cocktail" type tree with multiple varieties or eventually change it over entirely to the desired variety. 2. Buy rootstock seedlings from the following vendors who have agreed to accommodate requests from CCPP budwood customers.
