Notes and observations

EMN, 3/1987: Most on ground. Medium size, medium orange rind color, peels & sections fair, moderate number of seeds, rich flavor, still slightly tart, somewhat similar to Kara.

EMN, 6/1989: Memo dated 10/5/70 (Reuther to Nauer): Citrus species called Som Saa or Som Sar, as nearly as this Thai name can be transliterated. Used as a condiment. Has winged petiole and leaf blade serrated slightly, suggesting lemon or citron blood. Collected on Bangkok market, August 15, 1970.
