Notes and observations
12/22/1987, EMN: Seedling from CRC 2360. Fruit size varies but some fruits are huge, larger than many pummelos. Smooth but slightly bumpy rind, lemon-yellow at maturity. Shape slightly oblong to elongate. Very thick rind, moderately seedy, flesh white, dry, coarse; virtually without flavor; apparently almost no sugar or acid.
12/5/2006 DK & TS: Typically pear-shaped, some fruits have a bit of a nipple; rind thick, fairly smooth, sweet, with little aftertaste; flesh acidless, white, dry, coarse. Not very aromatic for a variety named Odorata.
Not commercially available in California.
