Notes and observations

Fisher is an early-season navel orange cultivar that reaches 8:1 solids to acid ratio ahead of Atwood, Bonanza, Newhall and Washington navel in Lindcove, California, but it does not reach color-break before mid-season cultivars such as Atwood and Washington navel. (Nauer et. al. 1985).  Based on another study, Fisher reaches 8 to 1 solids to acid ratio about the same time as Beck-Earli and Fukumoto, but ahead of Washington navel.

Not commercially available in California.
