Notes and observations

*Received at CRC as 3 trees in containers. Seedling of a lemon type used as a rootstock in Chiengmai area. Seed sent to USDCS by R. Mann from Chiengmai, Thailand.

EMN, 11/12/1987: Compact tree. New growth purple. Leaves large with wide winged petiole- like pummelo or grapefruit. Long, sharp spines. Fruit medium large, globose, flattened at apex, yellow, smooth rind, internal appearance like a thick-rinded lemon; lemon-like flavor, seedy.

Not commercially available in California.
