Received as a live tree from a seedling grown from Navelencia seed.


Parentage/origins

Apparently derived from an open-pollinated Navelencia orange.


Rootstocks of accession

Carrizo citrange, C-35 citrange


Season of ripeness at Riverside

December to January, but not edible.


Notes and observations

EMN: This is a dry navel; inedible; virtually no juice at all. Dr. Bitters says that a number of seedlings grown from Navelencia seed all produced dry fruit like this.


Availability

Not commercially available in California.
