Notes and observations

H. Chapot: Large-fruited hybrid lemon, slightly rough with large calyx. Very acid, edible as substitute for the lemon. Seeds polyembryonic. 

11/13/1987, EMN: Huge fruit, yellow, rough, ribbed. Foliage lemon-like but has moderately winged petiole & new growth is green, not purple. Thick rind, light amber flesh, seeds very from O to many. Flavor is sour.

Not commercially available in California.
