Notes and observations

Fruits 1- 1&1/2" in dia., light yellow color, globose, slight color, no nipple- segments show thru skin, peel thin, flesh light yellow, 4-5 seeds, juicy, flavor similar to lemon, peel very smooth, oil glands conspicuous. Planted 42 seeds- 37 singles, 5 doubles.

EMN, 11/17/1987: Small round to flattened-at-ends lemon, seedy, very sour, lemon flavor. Probably of no value.

10/1988: Dr. Bitters made a note in the accession book that this is NOT Paak ling mung; but he did not note what he thinks it might be. So I'll not change the name until a better one is presented.

Used to be planted in 18B-39.

Availability
