Notes and observations

Large, yellow-fleshed fruit.

1/23/1988, EMN: In C.I. (pp. 551), Hodgson lists this as a pummelo-like fruit. Dr. Bitters thinks it may be a sweet orange hybrid. Oh, woe is me; where shall we put it? Sour now; let's wait and taste it later to see if it is sweet enough to fit as a sweet orange hybrid.

5/27/1988, EMN: Could be considered borderline edible now but is still too sour for my taste. Fruit appears mostly pummelo-like; foliage appears orange (sweet)- like.

8/1988, EMN: Let's house this one with the pummelo hybrids for now & cross-reference it as a sweet orange hybrid.

6/10/2009 DK & TS: Separates easily from rind; sour; going dry.
