Notes and observations
11/9/1987,WPB: Ornamental use only. Has shorter internodes, rosette type growth, multiple purplish flowers, fruits set in clusters, fruits small, yellow white flesh, very acid, substitute for lime. Fruit borne in clusters. Attractive totally thornless tree; but fruit is not as attractive as ordinary lime, being pale yellow, very variable in size, and flattened at ends. This accession is very similar to India Lime (CRC 2450) but appears to be a more compact tree so might make a more attractive ornamental.
