Notes and observations
WPB: Fawcett #703-- Seeds from same missions only a few seeds germinated from 1/2 pint or more of seeds. A number of these seedlings were growing in Field 21 nursery. Several were selected as A,B,C,E,F,G,& H and were propagated. Fawcett #703 A to H, sweet seeds from Santa Ana Mission, Argentina, said to be 100 years old or more. Eight good seedlings germinated and became good trees. Two each budded on sweet orange stock 5/22/44.
2/8/1988, EMN: This is a typical seedy, mid-season sweet orange.
