Notes and observations
EMN, 1986: This accession was carried on the records as a tangelo; it is apparently a tangor. Note by R.K. Soost (12/3/79) states: CPB-52031-C-2, cross made in 1911 by F.W. Savage at Eustis, Florida. Satsuma X Ruby orange per note from D. Hutchinson 12/3/79 to R.K. Soost. This accession had psorosis which was removed by thermotherapy (Thermo 1202-11).
EMN, 4/1987: Large fruit, slightly oblate, medium deep orange, peels & sections readily, orange flesh, moderately seedy, tart flavor.
