Notes and observations

Large fruit, elliptical shape, very thick rind, seedy, white flesh, good flavor, sweet, tastes like watermelon; wavy leaves, unusual foliage for a pummelo.

3/10/1954 Bitters/Brusca comments: Crop all on ground. Large fruit, elliptical shape, very thick rind, seedy, which flesh, good flavor, sweet, tastes like watermelon.

12/21/1987, EMN: Tree has wavy leaves, unusual foliage for a pummelo.

11/21/1988, EMN: Attractive tree. Very few fruit this season. Flavor is already sweet enough to be palatable but rind is thick and seeds are numerous- probably of no value except as breeding stock; or possibly as an unusual landscape tree.
