Notes and observations

1985, EMN: Note on old accession card says orange x lemon hybrid, but not orange-like; more similar to C. volckameriana.

11/11/1986, EMN: Dr. W.P. Bitters says this is definitely NOT an orange x lemon hybrid nor is it C. volckameriana. He says he knows what it is but will not tell. Bah, Humbug!

11/11/1988, EMN: Fruit compared with Volckamer lemon, CRC 3050. WPB is probably right that this is not the same; but they appear to be mighty close cousins.
