CRC 956

PI 539585

Photos by David Karp and Toni Siebert, 1/28/2010, CVC. Photo rights.

Source: Received as seed from an unknown source, 1916.

Parentage/origins: Parents unknown.

Rootstocks of accession: Carrizo citrange, C-35 citrange

Season of ripeness at Riverside: December to January

Notes and observations:

EMN, 2/12/1988: Seedy, fruit large, looks like typical navel. CRC 65 is also a seedy navel. Only moderately seedy this year. This and CRC 65 are very similar; how do we know they are not the same budline? Why keep them both?

Availability: Not commercially available in California.
