Notes and observations

EMN, 11/9/1987: Cutting was labelled "48848-Lemonime" (as rec'd in 1931). CPB inventory lists 44848 as Perrine lime.Fruit examined- looks like a lemon/lime hybrid should.


Description from The Citrus Industry Vol. 1 (1967)

"Perrine originated as a hybrid made by W. T. Swingle and associates of the U.S. Department of Agriculture in 1909 and was named and described in 1931."
