Notes and observations

11/23/1988, EMN: This accession received thermotherapy during processing as an import thru CCPP. External appearance is like a grapefruit with yellow rind splotched with green. Medium rind thickness, moderately seedy. Flesh is BRIGHT ORANGE IN COLOR (Surprise!). Tender, melting, very juicy; pleasant flavor but probably too mild or flat for many tastes.

3/3/2008, DK & TS: Obovata (grapefruit-like) on outside, satsuma on the inside.
