Notes and observations

Notes from T. Tanaka in CITROLOGIA, pg 27, Univ. of Osaka, 1961: Probably a century old Asiatic tangor. Loose-skinned orange of beautiful appearance, shape very regular, tall depressed globose, not as round as C. sinensis, ends sl depressed, apex concave, rind thin, pulp not palatable, tough, many seeds, many embryos, may be very early tangor. 1/18/89- Tanaka was right- not palatable.
