Notes and observations

10/28/1942: Budded to Koethen sweet seedlings in Field 21

1986, EMN: This accession had exocortis, removed by shoot tip grafting .

6/1989, EMN: Fruit compared with Olinda Valencia: This fruit is not seedless; seems to have about half as many seeds as Olinda. Fruit is slightly larger, coarser, and more elongate than Olinda this season- this may be a light crop effect.

4/11/2008, DK & TS: The few fruits that were selected were seedless. The rind is pebbly and the fruit is more elongate than a typical Valencia. Fruits seem to cluster on the tree.

Availability

Not commercially available in California.
