Parentage/origins: "Ruddy" was developed by HB Frost at the CES, Riveside, from 'King' X 'Maltese Ovale' in the early decades of the 20th century.

 

Rootstocks of accession: Cleopatra mandarin, Swingle citrumelo

 

Season of ripeness at Riverside: January to February
