Source: Received as budwood from John Carpenter, USDCS, Indio, CA, 1961.

 

Parentage/origins: Poncirus trifoliata x Citrus paradisi (unknown cultivars)

 

Rootstocks of accession: Carrizo citrange, C-35 citrange

 

Season of ripeness at Riverside: October to November

 

Notes and observations:

Carpenter received budwood from USDA Station at Weslaco, Texas, 1958-60. Citrumelo 4482, TAES R-17, T-0; probably CPB #4482--JBC This accession had exocortis which was removed by shoot tip grafting (STG 171-10).

 

Availability: Not commercially available in California.
