Received as seed from Himachal Pradesh India , 1996. The CVC received budwood material in 2011.


Parentage/origins

Seed extracted from fruit purchased at roadside market stand in Soghi. 


Rootstocks of accession

Citrus macrophylla, Yuma Ponderosa lemon


Season of ripeness at Riverside

Unknown at this time.


Notes and observations

Fruit was identified as 'Gul-gul' by driver. Identity questioned by WP Bitters based upon description of fruit color (yellow) by R Krueger, but yellow color is consistent with description in The Citrus Industry, Vol 1, pp 569-570, and with comments from Prof AS Bindra, Punjab Agricultural University, 08/2002.
