Received as budwood from Brokaw's nursery, 2009, via CCPP.


Parentage/origins

Parents unknown. Not too much is known about this navel orange. It was originally imported through CCPP as a contract or proprietary cleanup.

Carrizo citrange, C-35 citrange


Season of ripeness at Riverside

December to February


Notes and observations

This accession was considered proprietary until 2008. In August 2008, Tracy Kahn contacted Ellen Brokaw who contacted the widow of Dan Sheehan who licensed Brokaw's nursery in 1996 to handle the Olympic Gold. Larry Rose then informed Tracy Kahn that there was no patent on the variety and we have permission to plant it. We do not have fruit quality information at this time.
